Under the supervision of the international administrator and the project manager will have to attend and participate in administrative and financial management of projects. In general, the responsibilities will be:
Perform double-entry accounting on GVC accountancy system, after control of Project’s cash books and related documents maintained and updated by the Accountant in Hebron;
Assist in budgets control;
Maintain monthly bank and cash reconciliation;
Maintain filing systems for the original documents in office and monitor the correct filing in the field office;
Ensure that all GVC rules and regulations are adhered to and full supporting documentation is available;
Manage of petty cash and reconciliation;
Perform the payment of bills for water, electricity, phone, cars and office rents and others expenses linked to the project;
Assist in the correct application of GVC procurement procedures;
Supervise the appropriate update of inventory records of office material and equipment;
Update and archive appropriately all administrative documents related to the national staff;
In collaboration with field Accountant ensure the follow-up of Sick leave of each national staff;
Perform translation of official correspondence and documents from English to Arabic and vice versa, and act as interpreter when required;
Perform any other additional duty on request of his/her supervisor.
