GVC is recruiting an Office Secretary to support administrative tasks at office in Beirut, under the supervision of Country Representative and in coordination with GVC staff located in other areas of the Country.
Duties and responsibilities
- Office management: correspondence filing, stationery purchasing, utilities payments, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Spoken translation and translation of documents from Arabic into English and vice versa
- Management and follow up of files with Lebanese Authorities, as far as general mandatory bureaucratic procedures are concerned at national level
- Assist Country Representative and other staff in implementation, coordination and management of projects’ activities
- Daily accountancy and petty cash management
- Any other task or duty assigned by Country Representative
Qualification and skills
- Degree in administration, or other related field
- Excellent knowledge of both Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Driving license B
- High level of computer literacy
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar post
- Efficiency, flexibility, ability in working in team
