Social Activities Coordinator - National Role

  • Coordinates the approach for social interventions for the whole consortium in order to promote the concept of social accountability toward citizens within the project;
  • Coordinates the communication activities of the Consortium;
  • Ensure timely and high-quality achievement of the project goal and objectives by consortium partners in relation to social accountability and communication activities;
  • Coordinate and monitors the implementation of the social activities program implemented by the partners, assure that partners procedures are in line with the main strategy of social accountability and reports about possible problems during the implementation;
  • Coordinate the relationships with external consultant for communication and internal organisation staff related to communication;
  • Establishes a common strategy of intervention to guarantee common monitoring indicators and capitalization of the interventions for social accountability and communication activities;
  • Coordinates surveying activities and analysis of data collected from the field and preparation of relevant reports to be divulgate at national level;
  • Test and promote standard communication activities (procedures and messages) for the WEs to communicate with customers and replicate at larger scale;
  • Produce documentation to capitalise lessons learned and reproduce the experience at a larger scale;
  • Analysis of social water policies;
  • Promotes the identification and involvement of local organisations/associations/key local actors within the framework of the project and works toward a strategy for their inclusion within GVC projects;
  • Organise stakeholders meeting at local and regional level for the implementation of project activities;
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting of activities according to donor and other applicable timeframes and formats for social activities;
  • Responsible for Visibility activities within the project and ensure the respect of visibility standards of consortium and donors;
  • Participates to sectorial coordination groups;
  • Reports to Program Coordinator whatever problem could arise in the implementation of consortium activities
  • Supporting in the identification and elaboration of new project proposals for the consortium and GVC.
