Social Activity Supervisor OBJECTIVES: The Social Activity Supervisor is responsible for the organization and supervision of all social activities, from planning implementation and reporting MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate permanently with Local Authorities, Water Establishment operators, Local Associations, target communities and other partners for GVC projects; Facilitate the coordination between Contractors, Partners, Communities and local authorities; Train surveyors, partners’ staff and other stakeholder with specific methodologies; Assist in the production of communication material as banners, brochures, newsletters, etc. Plan, supervise and monitor surveys, awareness campaigns and other social activities for the project; Prepare accurate and timely weekly reports of the individual activities and project progress; Represent GVC appropriately to the community, to other NGOs and institutional partners; Assistance in preparation of MOU with communities / agreements with beneficiaries Ensure maximum visibility of GVC actions amongst the beneficiary communities; Participate in inter‐NGO Coordination meetings; Supporting in the identification and elaboration of new project proposals; PERSONAL AND INTER‐PERSONAL SKILLS Arabic and Fluency in written and spoken English Good communication skills Understanding of and commitment to humanitarian principles and values Creativity Highly organized and able to work respecting deadlines Strong sense of responsibility Ability to work independently while at the same time cooperating with other staff members as well as beneficiaries Deep knowledge of Bekaa environment would be considered an asset Being flexible and with the ability to adjust to changes and new requirements / Ability to multitask DRIVING LICENSE is a must
