Call for Distribution Partners: Emergency Provision of Reusable Hygiene Kits (Pads & Diapers)

WingWoman Lebanon (WWL) is mobilizing an emergency response to support those affected by the ongoing conflict. We are looking for experienced humanitarian partners to assist in the distribution of high-quality, reusable period pads and diapers.

Available Stock for Donation

We currently have the following stock available for immediate allocation:

1,000 Packs of Reusable Menstrual Pads (High-quality, long-lasting).

600 Reusable Diapers.

Note: These do not all need to be distributed by a single organization. We are happy to partner with multiple entities (large or small) based on their specific geographic reach and capacity.

WingWoman Lebanon Impact

WingWoman Lebanon is a trusted local NGO providing work opportunities to women through the production of high quality reusable period pads and diapers. To date, we have distributed over 300,000 products through partnerships with various organisations including UNICEF, MSF, and Action Against Hunger. 

We operate on a principle of non-discrimination. Our products are suitable for any setting where water is available for washing. We just ask that they are distributed to those without sufficient means to consistently access these essential hygiene items.

The Strategic Context: Water vs. Cash

Key Insight: Regarding menstrual pads, women often face significant stigma and find it difficult to advocate for household funds to be spent on disposable products. However, it is much easier for them to advocate at a household level for a small increase in water or to allocate current water supplies to washing without having to specify what for. Reusable products leverage this reality, providing a dignified, sustainable solution that removes the recurring financial burden.
