- Conduct thorough psycho-educational and developmental assessments using standardized, culturally appropriate tools for accurate diagnosis and rehabilitation planning.
- Develop individualized Psychological Intervention Plans (PIPs) based on assessment results, incorporating SMART goals.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological intervention and therapy to children with disabilities, addressing emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and mental health needs.
- Provide psycho-education and specialized counseling to families and caregivers, focusing on adjustment to diagnoses, stress management, communication improvement, and practical home-based strategies.
- Lead the mental health component of the interdisciplinary team, ensuring integration of psychological findings into rehabilitation and educational plans for holistic care.
- Design and facilitate community awareness sessions for local leaders and service providers on disability, mental health, stigma reduction, and promoting psychological well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, following ethical standards and data protection protocols, and manage reporting to monitor project outcomes and accountability.
