Background
The Women's Programs Association (WPA) is a humanitarian NGO working with the Palestinian communities in Lebanon in development, emergency response and relief through various projects and services addressing the needs of the community in partnership with UNICEF TAAWON Welfare, the Women’s Programs Association (WPA) is rolling out a large-scale distribution of Family Hygiene Kits across all Palestinian families in Lebanon (North, Beirut, Beqaa, Saida, Tyre), each partner operating three centralized distribution sites per area, each partner will designate NFI distribution staff per each site. In this framework, the WPA is seeking to recruit Logistics and Finance Assistant to support NFIs distribution operations
2. Objective of the position:
The purpose of the post is to assist in and support Women’s Programs Association (WPA)’ NFIs distribution operations, ensure receiving kits, follow up recording in/out/replacement, validate consistency and verify approvals. Support in finance operations and procurement under NFI operations managed by WPA in the frame of the program.
3. Key tasks and responsibilities:
The Logistics and Finance Assistant will work under the supervision of WPA line manager, to whom he/she will report.
Support procurement, warehousing, and timely delivery of supplies designated for distribution.
Communicating with the operational stakeholders, suppliers, and other parties for the facilitation of operations
Maintain stock records, reconcile balances, and issue delivery notes.
Handle financial documentation for site rentals, casual labor, and petty cash as per donor’s requirements.
Provide logistical support for distribution teams and vehicles.
Provide regular and post distribution stock reconciliation reports.
Manage Financial disbursement records for operational costs.
Documentation of logistics challenges and recommendations.
Performing analytical check-ups at the level of each distribution and study deviations and identify causes in coordination with the financial management of the WPA,
Supporting with any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager withing this job.
Participating in training offered by WPA and UNICEF/donor.

Reporting any incident or act and any risk identified that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others in the distribution site through reporting and feedback channels assigned by the [WPA/UNICEF] is mandatory.
Qualification & Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Business Administration or related Fields.
Experience in Supply Chain management, logistics/warehouse management operations is a strong asset.
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a similar position is a strong asset.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting information system is a strong asset.
Other Personal qualifications
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures and with bookkeeping.
Experience with accounting information systems
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Organization
Aptitude for numbers
Flexible and responsive to program challenges, with willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
Ability to manage documentation, communication and reporting in English is a must

Duty station:
Centralized distribution sites where the NFI kits will be distributed to Palestinian refugees living in and outside camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as designated by the Women’s Programs Association and TAAWON. Applicants may be assigned to different sites within the same geographical operational area as required. The distribution sites will be located at Bekaa-Baalbek Area and duty station will be located at WPA Wavel center at the camp.
