USAID’s “Quality Instruction towards Access and Basic Education Improvement” (QITABI 2) is a five-year program seeking to improve learning outcomes for all students in public primary schools in Lebanon. Its activity targets an estimated 200,000 girls and boys, including those who are registered in second shifts of public schools.
World Learning has a consultancy vacancy for an “Videographer" for the USAID- funded Quality Instruction towards Access and Basic Education Improvement (QITABI 2) in Lebanon.
Responsibilities:
- Produce documentary-style videos to creatively document the QITABI 2 project’s impact and high-quality educational services and resources
- Provide video shooting and editing of events and videos showcasing QITABI 2 successes
- Document through short video-takes teachers and students performing several activities under QITABI 2 at Lebanese Public Schools
- Film short testimonials with beneficiaries, including school principals/teachers from Public and Private schools and parents that benefit from resources or training
material under QITABI 2
- Take short interviews with project partners and QITABI 2 management/specialists documenting QITABI 2 technical approach and impact in short videos that will be combined into one cumulative final video
- Develop a video concept and scenario for the closing event in coordination with QITABI 2 Communications Team
- Incorporate subtitles and voiceovers in videos
- Capture supplementary footage (B-roll) to improve the video
- Edit and assemble raw footage to create engaging and coherent videos
- Add transitions, special effects, music, voice, and graphics as needed.
- Take high-resolution photos at significant events
- Edit and mix audio tracks to ensure clear and balanced sound
- Create motion graphics and visual effects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film - preferable
- At least 10+ years of professional experience in producing videos and operating video cameras and editing equipment
- Experienced in producing documentary videos for international NGOs
- Portfolio demonstrating previous professional experience in shooting and editing short videos and photos
- Proficiency with editing software such as Photoshop and Adobe Premiere
- Skills in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively
- Knowledge of field production techniques
- Proven ability to produce engaging and creative documentary videos documenting projects in the education sector or other developmental sectors in Lebanon
