Project Description:   Developing Rehabilitation Assistance to Schools and Teacher Improvement-II (D-RASATI-II) is a project that aims at enhancing student achievement in Lebanese public schools by training English teachers, developing extra-curricular activities, providing schools with ICT equipment and training, developing school leadership and building the capacity and tools necessary to support school improvement planning. D-RASATI-II is a 2-years project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).   Position Description:   World Learning is responsible for supporting Lebanese public schools that are hosting Syrian refugee students in all regions of Lebanon. This involves working on two levels: training public school teachers in English language, and building skills among school-based staff on psychosocial interventions to enhance student wellbeing.   The PSS Coaches are required to assist the “PSS Lead Trainer and Coaching Consultant” and the “PSS Material Development Consultant” in building the capacity of MEHE staff and field-based teachers and supervisors in understanding the various aspects of the Psychosocial Support intervention that aims to enhance their wellbeing and that of their students. Coaches’ support will be at the regional level across Lebanon.   The PSS Coaches tasks include but are not limited to: Support the PSS Lead trainer during the PSS ToT and provide assistance in managing the various training activities and the participants working groups. Review the relevant training material and make the necessary adaptations where needed; Facilitate the trainings based on the agreed agenda, training objectives and outputs; Follow-up and coach MEHE trainers while conducting their PSS roll-out activities, Assist in the impact assessment activities at the school staff and students levels in collaboration with the PSS Evaluation Consultant, Assist in the various logistical/administrative aspects of the PSS trainings, Prepare progress reports and updates as agreed upon and when requested. Translate certain documents or conversations from English to Arabic and vice versa when needed. __________________________________    Position Requirements:   University degree in psychology, social work, education or other related fields A minimum of 5 years experience in social/ psychosocial support or related fields; A minimum of 3 years experience in facilitating training workshops, particularly training of teachers; Maintains confidentiality and respect towards beneficiaries; Good interpersonal and written and oral communication skills; Team player and adaptable to working under pressure and handling multiple tasks; Good reporting skills; Computer skills: proficiency in current office software applications; Previous experience in coaching in a similar or relevant setting; Demonstrated ability to use Participatory training methodologies; Knowledge of the public education system is an asset; Readiness to learn and adapt to new techniques and approaches; Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic. __________________________________  Deliverables -          TOT final report including an analysis and feedback of the workshop -          Other training reports; -          Monthly follow-up and coaching reports during relevant periods, -          Other reports/updates as requested. __________________________________   Timeline September 2015 – March 2016 __________________________________     How to apply?
