ICT Officer Description: World Learning is looking for a national staff to support the D-RASATI 2 project in training school representatives on the operation and maintenance of ICT equipment and on the integration of technology in a classroom context. This National Staff will be under the USAID-funded D-RASATI 2 education project in Lebanon. Duration: 6 months. Background: D-RASATI 2 is equipping 126 public secondary schools and 6 teacher-training centers with ICT equipment (tablets, laptops, and servers). The project is also providing continuous coaching to support these schools in integrating technology in teaching and learning. Main tasks: Get acquainted with the operation of the devices procured and the software installed (educational apps and classroom management system); Provide the support needed to insure the start-up and operation of the system at the school level; Support in implementing trainings for teachers and school representatives on the operation and maintenance of the devices Qualifications: The ICT Officer should have the relevant education training or work experience in fields related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Instructional Technology and Education; and should demonstrate the following experience: Understanding of the classroom context; experience in education is strongly preferred; Capacity to solve minor IT issues; Basic knowledge in IT support (configuration and networking); Excellent communication skills; Facilitation skills and experience; Fluency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written is required.  Knowledge of French is preferred.
