Internship Opportunity – Data Scientist

Responsibilities: Perform data cleaning and preprocessing on data collected during the readiness assessment Operationalize ICT standards in Ministry of Education’s strategy Support in the review of the ICT budgeting exercise by conducting due diligence Develop an inventory list per school based on readiness assessment data Construct a model using Excel to conduct gap and budget analyses Use appropriate statistical techniques on available data Conduct scenario analysis for maximizing impact of ICT procurement Communicate and report on results of model and data analyses Any other responsibilities as deemed appropriate… Qualifications: The intern should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Math, Finance, Social Sciences, or in a related field of study; and should demonstrate the following experience: Attention to details and strong organizational skills Experience in data collection and data analysis Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel Good communication skills Fluency in English, both verbal and written as well as fluency in Arabic is required.  Knowledge of French preferred.
