Volunteer- QITABI 2 Project

USAID’s “Quality Instruction towards Access and Basic Education Improvement” (QITABI 2) is a five-year program seeking to improve learning outcomes for all students in public primary schools in Lebanon. Its activity targets an estimated 200,000 girls and boys, including those who are registered in second shifts of public schools.

World Learning has a volunteering opportunity for its Beirut-based “Volunteer” for the USAID-funded Quality Instruction towards Access and Basic Education Improvement (QITABI 2) in Lebanon. This position is for a Lebanese national.

Scope and responsibilities:
• Participate in the onboarding and training sessions.
• Actively participate in the distribution of resources and handle data entry for beneficiaries targeted in the distribution program.
• The distribution volunteer should adhere to protection principles during distribution, including protection of sexual exploitation and abuse and child protection principles.
• Any other duties requested from the Lead Learning Facilitator.

Requirement:
• Preferred previous work experience in the field.
• Computer Skills: Intermediate level in MS Word and Excel.
•Good communications skills

Desirable:
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations, as the distribution will be carried out in North Lebanon, Kessrouane, Metn, Mount Lebanon, and Beirut. Candidates from the above-mentioned areas are encouraged to apply.
