774081 I WVL I Call for Tender I Capacity Building Camp Venue - Beirut Project

World Vision Lebanon’s have been working on a range of peace building, Social Cohesion, leadership and civic management skills with Youth Committees in three target areas of Jdeideh, Furn el Chubek and Sin el Fil under the Youth Resolve project. WVL with the three YC are coming to the end of a process where consultations were led with the community (including refugee youth) to map needs based on qualitative and quantitative data collection in order to develop a plan to lobby and advocate local municipalities and other local actors to address youth concerns. 

All three YC have worked separately focusing on their own areas, for the second time under MADAD project each Youth committee will have a 3-day training camp tailored according to the need of Youth in order to be able to improve their soft and technical skills so they would be able to lobby with their municipalities and stakeholders within their community for the sustainability of each Youth committee.
It should be a large space able to accommodate Youth for two nights; the venue ideally will be surrounded by nature a tranquil and resting break from the city view of Beirut also not very far for logistical reasons. The venue should be able to host daily Youth activities and workshops which are tailored in an interactive way (conference room is needed), in addition to this the venue should be Youth friendly so the Youth would be able benefit from their free day/night time to do activities as (gym – swimming – foosball…); finally, the main purpose of these training camps is to enhance and improve the capacitors of each Youth group also bring them together to brainstorm and plan for the upcoming phases related to their committees
