World Vision Lebanon’s have been working on a range of peace building, Social Cohesion, leadership and civic management skills with Youth Committees in three target areas of Jdeideh, Furn el Chubek and Sin el Fil under the EU Madaad Youth Resolve project. A report will be published where youth led consultations with the community (including refugee youth) to map needs based on qualitative and quantitative data collection in order for municipalities and other actors to address local youth needs.

The report produced for Sin El Fil made a finding of three main concerns related to Public Spaces, Public Safety and Public Transport. Youth came up with an intervention of designing a mobile based application which will be jointly done with the municipality, where everyone can access information about services in the city, daily events happening around the city, a page where incidents and the like can be reported to the city and finally a hotline.

An application designer and developer for a (iOS and Android) mobile application that is about the city of Sin El Fil.
