Terms of Reference World Vision – Lebanon Education Project –L192462 – Plays November, 2013 Play Purpose Children and youth have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular and recreational activities Project Description As we approach the end of the year and celebrating Christmas and New Year, we conduct a number of plays in Marjeyoun Schools and villages. The audiences are primarily aged between 6-12 years old. The length of the play is expected to be ranging from 45-60 minutes show. The plays should be done during December, 2013 in any of the following dates: 9, 10, 11, 14 & 16, 17, 18, 21 December 2013 according to the schools and villages coordination. During each performance the number of attendees would vary between 60-80 students (more or less). We are planning to conduct a minimum of 8 performances. Plays will be performed in the following destination: (The number of performances is fixed however, name of school or village might vary but within Marjeyoun Area of operation) Ebel el Saqi Village, Khiam Public, Mabarat school Blatt Public School Kfakerla school, Burj el Molouk village St. George School Marjeyoun National School Contractor (Second Party) Specifications The play should be thematic but not religious discussing moral topics such as recycling, Love of others, car and help others… A qualified candidate for the second party contractor must: Include in the play music, decoration, and clothing and should be in Arabic Language Target children aged 6- 12 years old Be sufficiently able to fulfill contract requirements within specified timeframe (includes adequate staffing) Play Specifications The play designed by the second party must: • Be 45 to 60 minutes long • Utilize four actors (minimum) • Utilize a mobile set, costumes, props, sound system etc. • Include songs tailored to fit the topic. • Use Arabic Language • Be reviewed and approved by World Vision committee and successfully piloted by end of November, 2013 Project Timeframe • Bids submitted: November 25, 2013 • Contract signed: December 5, 2013 • Script reviewed by World Vision committee: November 29, 2013 Required Documents for Bid: Potential second party must submit the following documents to be considered for the project on the email address lbn_cv@wvi.org Make sure to name the subject "Education Project –L192462 – Plays" All bids should be send in a sealed envelope with a title from inside • Brochures and/or posters • Proposed budget, detailing: Expenses: transportation, Sound System, etc.
