Casual Workers-Livelihood/Bekaa

The casual workers will be paid (for maximum working days) according to the below table:

Casual Worker without cars

32.43$/day

Casual Worker with cars

64.68$/day

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Check Syrian beneficiaries’ registration.
  • Supervise the construction work
  • Lease with the project engineer assistant and make sure his instructions are being followed by the contractor
  • Lease with the contractor for delivery of services and goods upon a pre-set schedule provided by the engineer
  • Check ID for Syrian and Lebanese beneficiaries.
  • Supervising the attendance and work of beneficiaries
  • Providing the needed information/awareness for beneficiaries (updated service notes and other leaflets)
  • Reporting on attended beneficiaries
  • Site Visits for collecting information, and assessing beneficiaries
  • Office work, including data entry and filing

 

Knowledge and skills required

  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Bekaa area.
  • Experience in formwork
  • Experience in cement work
  • Experience in dealing with contractors
  • Fluent in Arabic, and proficient in English
  • Ability to act with appropriate respect to the beneficiaries’ cultures and traditions.
  • Ability to collect data in a detailed, accurate and transparent way.
  • Ability to collect data on tablets using the ODK tool, and field task.
  • Ability to facilitate or takes notes during a focus group discussion
  • Driving licence
