Contractor For Quality Information Play

1- BACKGROUND: The Child Protection Project in Dreib Al Awssat ADP has one component which aims to deliver quality messages to children in an interactive manner about child protection from violence, exploitation and abuse targeting children exposed to such kind of vulnerabilities. WVL is undertaking outreach activities that contribute to greater awareness, understanding and community mobilization towards enhanced child protection. 2- THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY: World Vision Lebanon is looking for a short term professional expert/company to build the capacity of the Child Protection Committee in Dreib Al Awssat so they can be able to deliver a quality information play to children aged 6-12 years old. The CP Committee will be equipped technically with oral and written skills in order to be able to develop the key messages and to deliver them through the show that aims to increase awareness about child protection focusing on violence, abuse , neglect and exploitative relationships and how they can be more resilient. The capacity building duration should be between 1st and the 3rd week of August 2016. The duration of each capacity building session should be 3 hours and for 12 days. The attendees are boys and girls aged starting 12 till 25 years old (5 children &15 youth) The Contractor will provide 12 capacity building sessions for the CP committee about : - Theater plays skills. - Script written skills. - How to develop the performance with the CP committee. - Coach the CP committee on the performance. Specific Required Tasks: - Support the CP committee with theater play competencies. - Ability to support the CP Committee to come up with creative script. - Support the CP Committee to produce a theater play about Child Protection. - Coach the CP Committee to perform well the theater play. 4- CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The Contractor should have the following competencies and experiences: - Experience in animation, plays production, script writing and having undertaken similar activities in the past. - Familiar with Child Protection sector and principles. - Familiar with civil society and NGO engagement. - Excellent Arabic language proficiency 5- PAYMENT TERMS: The full amount will be paid after completion of the services.
