MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Implementation and Reporting
Project deliverables are met within the agreed time-frame and budget in compliance with donor regulations, WV’s and international best practices;
Comply and abide by WV best practices and donor regulations in monitoring and data gathering;
Conduct site assessment to Liban post offices and Cash United in order to:
Ensure that sites have the required equipment and trained staff.
Ensure sites are at the locations provided and with the opening days, hours and facilities expected
Collect any missing or out of date information, including photographs.
Provide Liban Post/Cash United staff with a short awareness session (humanitarian principles as it relates to their role and Q&A)
Provide visibility items to all branches for the purpose of site identification.
Understand potential risks to refugees accessing the sites and determine if an alternative site should be selected.
Conduct on site monitoring to Liban Post and Cash United offices to:
Ensure the validation exercise is running smoothly.
Answer/Listen and guide beneficiaries that seek help.
Ensure that beneficiaries are treated as per the humanitarian principles.
Support beneficiaries through information sharing relating to services provided by World Vision and partner organizations, upon request.
Ensure handling and filling questionnaires through digital device (tablet) and ensure all information on each survey is accurate prior input into the database,
Submit completed tasks on time and discuss with the supervisor highlights, notes and protection cases on a daily basis (i.e. total sites visited, challenges, protection cases),
Implement assigned tasks as per the weekly detailed monitoring and data gathering implementation plan;
Inform the team leader of any deviations from the planned activities;
Make sure to refer any protection case to team leader
Perform other duties as required
Attend trainings locally and internationally.
Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events.
Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture.
Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High School completion certificate.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the Central Bekaa, West Bekaa and North Bekaa areas.
- Expertise to enter, transcribe, record, maintain data/information in written or electronic forms.
- Basic understanding of technology such as tablets.
- Ability to act with appropriate respect to the beneficiaries’ cultures and traditions.
- Ability to listen and respond to beneficiary inquiry under any circumstances.
- Ability to gather information in an objective, appropriate and sensitive way.
- A valid driver’s license (more than 1 year old) and a car.
- Ability to travel across the country regularly for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation
