Field Monitor

MAJOR TASKS: Conduct data collection including: on-site monitoring, observations, post-distribution monitoring, shop monitoring, Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, surveys, assessments, evaluations, etc…with different persons of different age groups (children, youth, adults) and gender. Conduct data entry of quantitative and qualitative data. Transcribe qualitative data, assist in data analysis, and draft daily reports. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques (monitoring, observations, focus groups, interviews, surveys), data entry, and data consolidation Knowledge of data analysis procedures and softwares Excellent written English, with good command of spoken Arabic and English Critical thinking and analytical skills Research skills Interpersonal and communication Training and facilitation skills Organization and time management skills Ability to work effectively with teams and communities Ability to work effectively with teams and communities Ability to work effectively under pressure Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency and productivity. Resident of the South Area and familiar with the areas of implementation of the different projects Experience Minimum 6 months in quantitative and qualitative data collection and data entry  Work Environment: 70 % travel required 30 % desk job
