World Vision Lebanon is looking for a Health Intern to support our PDQ department.
Key Objectives: The intern will be expected to support in the development and implementation of an Area Programme (AP) situation analysis.
More Specifically:
- Review and summarize existing program reports, sectoral studies, and contextual information related to the targeted Area Programmes.
- Gather and organize secondary data to help identify key community needs, existing service gaps, and opportunities for system-level engagement.
- Work with the MEAL team and technical staff to refine or adjust data collection tools as needed.
As part of this internship, the interns will be invited to work at World Vision offices, will be included in regular team meetings, and will report to supervisors at the office and on the field.
He/She will be exposed to a wide array of projects in which their project management, data management, and scientific writing skills will be used.
Minimum requirements
- Currently majoring in relevant fields of study
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable knowledge in relevant topics is an asset (humanitarian programming, disaster risk reduction, peacebuilding)
- Experience in working in disadvantaged communities and vulnerable groups is an asset
- Volunteering background is an asset
