Intern under the Advocacy Department

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES UNDER INTERNSHIP
Prepare an inclusive summary of an already existing 50-page legal analysis of children’s
rights in Lebanon in relevance to child protection and advocacy (CP&A) technical programme, and It takes a world campaign (ITAW).
Support in drafting an external engagement action plan for utilizing the legal analysis as
a reference on children’s rights.
Support in the implementation phase of the external engagement action plan of the
legal analysis.

TIMELINE
The intern is needed for a period of 6 weeks starting immediately. The intern will be working for 3 days; to be agreed on with the selected intern.


PAYMENT TO INTERN
WVL will pay to Student a stipend of $ 250 per month. This stipend will in no event constitute a wage or salary. Employee benefits are not provided to intern by WVL


INTERNSHIP EXPENSES
WVL will pay 8,000 LL per working day as compensation for transportation costs incurred for meetings at the office.


NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in law or public policy is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English and Arabic)
