Internship with the External Engagement Department-Communications Intern

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES UNDER INTERNSHIP

- Strong Arabic and English communication and writing skills

- Assist in archiving and uploading of resources

- Assist in developing communications resources (photo essays and stories)

- Support in external engagement events and efforts

TIMELINE

The consultant is expected to start working on the above mentioned task in November till Mid-December for a period of 8 weeks. The duration of the internship and working days will be agreed on with the selected Intern.

CONDITIONS OF INTERNSHIP

• Communications intern needs to conduct field trips to WVL’s Area Programmes, with the support of the EE team.
• WV has the rights to the work and designs developed by the designer. The graphic designer can share the work  during the internship after getting approval from WV
• Communications Intern needs to maintain confidentially with regards to WV information and information not for public dissemination. 

PAYMENT TO INTERN

WVL will pay to Student a stipend of $ 250 per month. This stipend will in no event constitute a wage or salary. Employee benefits are not provided to intern by WVL.

INTERNSHIP EXPENSES

WVL will pay 8,000 LL per working day as compensation for transportation costs incurred for meetings at the office.

NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS

- Radio TV, Journalism, Communications major

- Excellent written and verbal communication (English and Arabic)
