MAJOR TASKS:
Administer and maintain World Vision Lebanon information technology hardware. Information technology hardware includes printers, scanners, laptops, desktops, and peripherals including mice, keyboards and UPSs.
Administer and maintain World Vision Lebanon business applications. Business applications include Microsoft Windows and Office, Lotus Notes, STEP and related software, McAfee antivirus and backup software, as well as other applications. Responsibilities include updating software as required, repairing software installations as required and reinstalling software as required.
Ensure both hardware and software maintained on a regular schedule.
Ensure this support is available to both the national office and field offices through appropriately scheduled visits.
Act as a technical resource to all World Vision staff in resolving problems with business applications and information technology hardware.
Implement appropriate security measures to prevent misuse of World Vision Lebanon information technology hardware and business applications, protect data and minimize downtime of hardware or software.
Implement a regularly scheduled backup plan for all users in all locations, including validation of data backed-up and appropriate off-site storage of key backups
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Familiar with the latest developments in the Information Technology field.
Fluency in both English and Arabic, oral and written.
Independent and creative individual with strong sense of prioritization and organizational skills.
Must have good analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
