MAJOR TASKS:
Develop programme/project proposals designs in alignment with donor requirements and ensuring that relevant information from secondary data, assessments, monitoring, evaluations and lessons learned are integrated in the proposals
Ensure community inputs are considered in the project design process.
Develop reports as per donor requirements in consultation with operations, finance and M&E unit.
Ensure input is provided from Operations, and other support and technical units on the most urgent needs, current trends and approaches in design and implementation
Regularly coordinate with WVL departments and sectors specialists, technical teams and SOs representatives for adequate proposal/concept development and reporting.
Ensure appropriate information on WVL Emergency response is shared at the sectors level.
Collect needed information at the sector level to inform WVL strategy development and response planning
Support capacity buildings of programme/project level staff on donor requirements.
Support in conducting start-up workshops for relevant response staff when a proposal is committed to orient them on the relevant donor requirements
Support capacity Buildings of programme/project local partners on relevant grant / project tools and processes.
Capture and share knowledge, experience, lessons learned and best practices in line with Programmatic support.
Serve as the focal person to the grant to capture and share programmatic documents for each project by uploading them on the suggested Knowledge Management Systems and filing hardcopies in designated folders.
