Learning Difficulties (Consultancy)

Terms of Reference World Vision – Lebanon Learning Difficulties November 2014   Document Purpose This document outlines the goals of the Teachers training of World Vision (first party), and the responsibilities of potential contracted second parties. It also defines the process interested second party must undergo in order to bid for contract fulfillment, as well as a timeframe for overall project success.   Project Description The Learning difficulty project will start with training 12 schools in Bekaa Area (1 or 2 teachers) from each school on diagnosing children with learning difficulties/disabilities,   This project must help teachers:   -To give assessment on learners with learning difficulties. -To embedding for learners with learning difficulties. -To have many support for learners with learning difficulties. -To know the policy and regulations related to learners with learning difficulties. -To practice qualifications and awards for learners with learning difficulties. -To discover all resources that support teaching learners with learning difficulties. -To develop quality processes and procedures related to learners with learning      difficulties. -To create learning materials. -To apply skills for life this aims to improve teaching.       Knowing the above will help the targeted people to create the life they desire and to access their inner resources needed to succeed.       Contractor (Second Party) Specifications A qualified candidate for the second party contractor must: Be organization/trainer able to work with the students, teachers and parents on the Learning difficulties. Be experienced in such work. Be sufficiently able to fulfill contract requirements within specified timeframe (includes adequate staffing) Submit all specified bidding documents by November 25 2013       Program Specifications   Learning Difficulties: Subject/Session Month ADP Duration of the session Teachers workshop October West Bekaa,Central Bekaa and Zahle 2 Days Follow up with the schools (trained teachers) to discuss students problems and solutions. November-May West Bekaa,Central Bekaa and Zahle 2 hours/month in each school 12 schools Coordination meeting with Education sector coordinator October-May West Bekaa,Central Bekaa and Zahle 1 meeting /month       Party Responsibilities World Vision (First Party) The first party agrees to: Provide sufficient project funding. Review second party reports and provide general oversight as necessary.   Contractor (Second Party) The second party agrees to: Submit a report detailing: Attendance at these sessions Narrative Report     Project Timeframe Bids submitted:  29 October 2014 Contract signed:  10 November 2014 Activities to start:  17 November 2014     Required Documents for Bid Potential second party must submit the following documents to be considered for the project: Legal registration/certificate for being an official organization. Proposed budget, detailing: Sessions cost Workshop costs
