Outreach Coordinator - Education In Bekaa

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Facilitate project’s implementation Projects activities are implemented as per the developed action plan60%Conduct meetings with key stakeholders to engage them about the project interventions and agree on their contributions in order to ensure sustainability. Network with local NGOs, municipalities, schools, community centers, and communities. Map available educational, and protection services availableOversee the assessment potential beneficiaries to the relevant project’s programs. Disseminate information related to services for Syrian refugees based on the mappingOversee the distribution of leaflets with early learning, education, health and protection services available to Syrian and Lebanese children Manage Outreach assistants and support them in establishing Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Child Protection (CP) Committees; Participate and collaborate in other activities (recreational, psychosocial, awareness and non-formal education) conducted in the center when neededMobilize stakeholders and community members to attend training and capacity building opportunitiesSupport the team in preparing peer to peer sessions with prents and share their knowledge with other parents Attend training and capacity building opportunitiesOversee the implementation ECD, Homeschooling and Positive parenting sessions targeting parents. Oversee distribution of ECE and ECD Homeschooling, hygiene winterization Kits to parents Conduct joint learning sessions for parents of children attending ECE cycles (e.g. hygiene, CP)Participate in all coordination meetings required.Plan andprepare logistics for all outreach activities. II- Ensure children’s safety and protection Children attending the activities are protected and safe10% Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and communities and raise them to portfolio manager, and EiE and CiE Coordinators. Identify safety issues or protection concerns and raise to portfolio manager and when necessary follow-up with the risk manager on the safety and security of the chosen locations. Refer cases to case management agencies and service providers III- Handle tracking, reporting on activities and filing Progress reports are done and submitted as per the required deadline 25% Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents… are in place.Enter all project related MOV into the system. Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness.Support the Portfolio Manage and EiE and CiE Coordinators, in the development of different project reports. Fill the Referral Tracking sheet on a monthly basis4- Perform other duties as required 5%Safety and Security responsibilities Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security cultureAbide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager HEA responsibilities: Be aware of the emergency procedures in a response and ensure that necessary preparedness measures have been implemented after coordination with Project manager Other duties: Attend and participate in local and international capacity building events as needed Attend and participate in spiritual nurture events and other organizational events Perform other related tasks as required by the Project Manager.
