Outreach Facilitator

PURPOSE OF POSITION We are seeking a very dynamic and well-organized person to assist the Project, using professional social skills to achieve the objectives, and to seek the optimal solutions for each child in the project.   MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1- Facilitate project’s implementation Conduct meetings with key stakeholders to engage them about the project interventions and agree on their contributions in order to ensure sustainability Network with local NGOs, municipalities, schools, community centers, and communities Map available educational, health and protection services available Mapping and assessing potential beneficiaries to the relevant project’s programs Disseminate information related to services for Syrian refugees based on the mapping Distribute leaflets with early learning, education, health and protection services available to Syrian and Lebanese children in South Lebanon Establish ECD and CP Committees jointly with Project officer Mobilize communities to participate in social cohesion events at the end of each project cycle Participate and collaborate in other activities (recreational, psychosocial, awareness and non-formal education) conducted in the center when needed Mobilize stakeholders and community members to attend training and capacity building opportunities Support committee members and parents to prepare peer to peer sessions and share their knowledge with other parents Attend training and capacity building opportunities Implement ECD, Homeschooling and Positive parenting sessions targeting parents Distribute ECE and ECD Homeschooling, hygine winterization Kits to parents Conduct joint learning sessions for parents of children attending ECE cycles (e.g. hygiene, CP) Participate in all coordination meetings required. Support the supervisor and ECE caregivers in conducting cyclic meetings for parents of children attending PSS and ECE activities, to follow up on their improvement. Plan and prepare logistics for all outreach activities Full coordination with the project manager to ensure proper implementation of the project. II- Ensure children’s safety and protection Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and communities and raise them to project manager. Identify safety issues or protection concerns and raise to project manager and when necessary follow-up with the risk manager on the safety and security of the chosen locations. Refer cases to case management agencies and service providers III- Handle tracking, reporting on activities and filing Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents… are in place. Enter all project related MOV into the system. Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness. Support the Project Manager in the development of different project reports. Prepare and update the list of items to be purchased when needed coordinate with World Vision Lebanon Procurement officer on all procurement needs. Fill the Referral Tracking sheet on a monthly basis 4- Perform other duties as required Safety and Security responsibilities Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager HEA responsibilities: Be aware of the emergency procedures in a response and ensure that necessary preparedness measures have been implemented after coordination with Project manager Other duties: Attend and participate in local and international capacity building events as needed Attend and participate in spiritual nurture events and other organizational events Perform other related tasks as required by the Project Manager.   All interested candidates need to visit the below website for further details regarding job requirements and major responsibilities: https://careers.wvi.org/jobs/lebanon/administrative-services/outreach-fa... only applications received through this link will be considered.
