I – Field: project related activities implementation
Ensure regular visits of the implementation of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) activities in the ITs or the community center (s) through regular visits to the informal tented settlements and the communities centers, where beneficiaries reside in order to monitor and supervise the progress of the work periodically
Mobilize the community to engage parents of Syrians children in the project and to establish parents committees
Work closely with the parents by providing them support that aims at enhancing the well being of the child through conducting regular meetings (once/ twice per month)
Facilitate / Conduct periodic awareness sessions for parents of Syrians children about different topics (Child Protection, Education, health, etc.,) and which aim at promoting ECE and promoting the well being of the children
Conduct visits to specific parents in order to understand the children’s family structure when special cases are reported (protection issues) or captured during the implementation
Attend training on Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Provide field support needed for Early Childhood Caregivers
Assist in the provision of appropriate capacity building for the local partners, Early Childhood Caregivers and / or volunteers and parents working on the Early Childhood Education (ECE) to ensure the sustainability of the project
Write and ensure that a monthly operational progress report is followed up on (once developed) for the ECE activities revealing the evolution of work
Document related records (attendance sheets, etc., ) and correspondences related to the ECE trainings
Assist in the public relations activities implementation (donors visits, etc.,)
Prepare list of items to be purchased (PRF) on a monthly basis and coordinate with the Procurement officer
Identify safety issues in close collaboration with the coordinator (s)

Security management responsibilities:
Abide by the security procedures and policies and report any breaches
Participate in personal safety training as required
Humanitarian Accountability
Be aware of emergency procedures in a response
Support implementation of information provision mechanisms as per the response in Lebanon
Other duties:
Attend and participate in capacity building trainings, if any
Perform other relevant tasks as assigned
Represent World Vision , when requested and is necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor degree in social Education related field (kindergarten studies, social science , psychology, sociology, public health, specialized education or other related degree)
Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to work in a team
Preference to candidate with field experience in Bekaa area
Ability to cope and work under pressure with strict deadlines
Computer literate
Willing to travel within Lebanon with a valid driver’s license
Ability to work in difficult and high risk situations
Excellent communication, reporting, and pro-active negotiation skills
Skilled at working with local communities and authorities
One year experience in a similar related job (preferable)
Experience in project implementation, field monitoring and report writing
University degree in education , public health , sociology or other related fields
Excellent interpersonal skills
Previous experience in facilitating awareness sessions (preferable)
