Palestinian Refugee Program Manager

Oversee and ensure timely projects’ implementation according to donors’ requirements and regulations and the established Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP). Lead and evaluate Refugee projects’ budgets, projects’ funding, expenditures and accomplishments of ministry objectives Ensure timely submission of quality project progress reports, and other information as required, for the support offices and donors Provide support for the Refugee Program Team by paying frequent visits to the projects and partners in order to follow-up on the activities’ implementation, building relationships, and clarifying the program’s strategic directions. Develop and maintain relationships with donors in order to ensure adequate funding. Participate and review projects evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator. Work closely with the Finance Department on projects budgets, financial reports, cash flows, carry forwards, etc Guarantee the planning for projects handover and sustainability with key stakeholders, communities and internal teams Coordinate with the Communications Department on information regarding current and future proposals/projects to be able to post these opportunities/project stories and ultimately participate in a better internal and external communication Coordinate closely with the Advocacy Director on raising awareness, both internally and externally, about the refugee situation in Lebanon Follow-up closely on the implementation of audit recommendations and findings.   V. Public relations and networking   Manage and coordinate connections with partners, local and international NGOs, UN agencies, UNRWA, EU, ECHO, and different donors and community representatives and stakeholders Represent World Vision when requested and necessary   Education Bachelor’s degree in a field related to community development work, preferably in fields such as sociology, agriculture, economic and public health. Essential Masters Degree in a related field Preferred Knowledge & Skills Project Management skills Interpersonal and oral communication skills Essential Organizational and time-management skills. Proposal writing and report writing skills Team building knowledge and skills Refugee context and Refugee rights knowledge Preferred   Experience Experience in Project Cycle Management and proposal writing. Experience in development work Essential Experience in Refugee contexts Preferred Experience in working effectively with community projects Desirable Work Environment 30 % travel required 15% meetings 55% desk job Position requires willingness and ability to continue to function during a crisis situation, including during a World Vision response to a manmade or natural disaster within the Refugee camps
