Only applications received throughout this link are considered PURPOSE OF POSITION: To conduct field coordination of the Psycho Social Support Project in putting together project goals and in leading the implementation of the projects activities in a manner that leaves considerable positive impact on the targeted Refugees children. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Major Activities Project implementation Close follow up with the animators in implementing the protection project activities with support from the project coordinator Responsible for the logistics and coordination between the Outreach Officer, CP Training Coordinator, and Field coordinators when conducting caregivers program session and capacity building sessions Assist in preparing and organizing community events for sensitization objective Conducting data entry for attendance sheets of children attending PSS Interacting regularly with project coordinator to seek technical guidance and expertise regarding project related issues Participate when needed in evaluating the impact of the project on the beneficiaries with support from the DME unit. Keep and file records and correspondences related to the project Submit weekly activity reports Other duties/responsibilities Carry out public relations activities, which include accompanying foreign visitors and donors to the project (once needed, on occasional basis) Represent World Vision in meetings and trainings when requested and is necessary. Attend and participate in local and international capacity building events as needed. Attend and participate in spiritual nurture events and other organizational events Perform other related tasks as required by the CP coordinator. Safety and Security responsibilities Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: University degree in a field related to community development work (preferably in a field such as social work, psychology, sociology, education etc.). Minimum of 1 year experience in community relief work. Very good command of written and spoken Arabic and English. Computer literate in Microsoft Office package. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with people from different cultures, and backgrounds and ability to deal with vulnerabilities
