Distribute leaflets with education, health and protection services available to Syrian and Lebanese children in Bekaa
Establish Child Protection Committees jointly with support from the animators and scouts groups.
Attend training and capacity building opportunities

Coach and Supervise Animators
Lead, supervise and monitor the activities (recreational, psychosocial, awareness and non-formal education) conducted in the centre.
Coach and supervise the animators who are providing the parenting sessions in collaboration with Project Officer.
Support the animators to build positive relationships with children in street situation and their families through conducting field visits, presenting the available services to establish a strong community linkage with the community.
Ensure that the animators are providing support to at risk children and their families to get access to service provision from external agencies through DO NO HARM Principles, Confidentiality and best interest of the children.
Ensure that the animators are approaching the parents of children who are not participating and encourage them to participate.

Ensure children’s safety and protection
Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and communities and raise them to the project officer, and project coordinator.
Compile identified cases in need for referral from the animators and submit them using RIMS in accordance to WV Referral mechanism.
Refer cases in line with existing inter-agency referral mechanisms and internal WV guidance.

Handle tracking, reporting on activities and filing
File all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre/post-tests, minutes of meetings, and evaluation documents are in place.
Enter project related MOV into the system.
File and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting are taking place while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness.
File in the Referral Tracking sheet on a monthly basis
File all important records and correspondences related to the PSS/CP sessions.
Report on incidents related to Safeguarding

Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events
Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture
Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
1 year of Experience in project implementation, monitoring and report writing.
Experienced in working with local communities ((Parents and children) and authorities; preferably in the Bekaa.
Excellent communication, reporting, and pro-active negotiation skills.
Required Education,

Bachelor degree in a social development related field, ( psychology, sociology, social sciences/humanities, specialized education or social animation) is preferable
Preferred Knowledge
and Qualifications
Experience in working with child labour (children in street situation and children expose to high risk)
Knowledge of the psychosocial guidelines and approaches related to emergency context (MHPSS IASC guidelines, PFA principles, etc.);
Familiar with core principles of Children Rights, Participation, Do No Harm, Community and Family Support as well as Child protection minimum standards in humanitarian actions.
Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility
Reporting and data base entry skills
Network builder, able to handle pressure well and work in cross-cultural setting

Requirement
85% field work and 15% Office work.
Position requires availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally.
Position requires willingness and ability to continue to function during a crisis situation, including during a World Vision response to a manmade or natural disaster.
Language
Requirements
Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic language is necessary.
