MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implementation

Ensure follow up with project partners, monitoring of attendance and performance to ensure that activities are delivered according to the expected results and the terms of contracts

Build strong relationship with local partners and represent the project before the partners and other stakeholders  when required

Identify and target beneficiaries including managing casual workers doing the data gathering;

Conduct data cleaning and entry including maintenance of the data base;

Work towards the successful implementation of the Livelihoods program. Understand the objectives and elements of the program including log frame timelines and budget allocations

Follow up on the running of the daily livelihood activities including services providers;

Conduct the market assessment in targeted villages;

Hold information sessions amongst project and livelihood center staff on findings of the outreach activities;

Assist the registration process;

Deliver high quality, accurate and timely daily reports;

File all relevant project documents in line with WV’s requirements for project auditing;

Support in the donor and partner visits

Support actions to address beneficiary feedback;

Action protection mainstreaming standards suggested by the Project Coordinator.

Security management responsibilities:

Abide by the security procedure, policies and take responsibility for all breaches. World Vision has zero breach tolerance;

Attend all security related training and abides by all taught material;

Immediately report all security related incidents to the team leader;

Other duties:

Attend and participate in capacity building trainings locally and internationally as appropriate and necessary and based on funding availability

Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Bachelor degree or any equivalent degree
2. Able to use a computer, with word-processing (e.g. Microsoft Office) and spreadsheets, internet and e-mail
3. 1-2 years' experience in NGOs
4. Experience in data gathering at household level and focus group discussions;
5. Experience managing team of casual labour
6. A valid driver’s license (more than 1 year old);
7. Good level of English and Arabic (oral and written);
