Psychosocial Support Trainer-Consultant

World Vision is establishing Psychosocial Support Centers in Bent-Jbeil area, south of Lebanon, to provide children (6 - 12 years old) with structured psychosocial support (PSS) to build resilience, contextually relevant skills, create social support and support community mobilization to enhance child protection and child well-being. Caregivers will deliver PSS activities to children. THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY: World Vision is looking for a trainer with a strong training experience in psychosocial support. The consultants’ main role is to train caregivers on a structured psychosocial support curriculum developed by WV and to provide support through coaching visits and follow up. REQUIRED TASKS: • Review the structured PSS curriculum, prepare the training and deliver reports (2 days) • Train caregivers for five days on the structured PSS curriculum. The language of the training is Arabic. (5 days) • Conduct two field visits to observe and coach caregivers and strengthen their capacities to facilitate the PSS sessions (1 day) DELIVERABLES: • Training Report in English, including attendance sheet, agenda, and evaluation forms… (the template will be provided by WV) • Report including feedback and observation after coaching visits. CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Significant technical expertise in Psychosocial Support. • Several years of experience in Psychosocial Support trainings • Experience in facilitating trainings • Great communication skills • Good at time management • Good computer skills • Ability to act with appropriate respect towards audience PROJECT TIME FRAME: • Bids submitted: 23rd till 31st of August • Contract signed: first week of September • Review and preparation: 8 and 9 September • Training: 15 till 19 September and Report to be submitted on the 24th • Coaching visit: one coaching visit will be set with the project manager REQUIRED DOCUMENT FOR BID: For interested applicants, Please send the following a Curriculum Vitae and Quotation for the services provided Note: In compliance with the ministry of finance’s requirement, WVL will deduct 7.5% applicable taxes on the consultancy payments and will pay it to the ministry of finance Potential second party must send a CV and a Bid via e-mail (lbn_cv@wvi.org) to be considered for the consultancy.
