Key Objectives: Provide support for the Department in the following areas
Under the scope of World Vision’s ‘It takes a world to end violence against children’ national campaign, the Public Engagement Intern is expected to:
1
Support the policy and advocacy coordinator in network-building and engagement with relevant stakeholders including members of the parliament

Assist in the planning and organization of public engagement activities aiming at raising awareness and advocating for legal reform for the protection of children from violent discipline
3
Demonstrate creative and problem solving skills
4
Research and map previous advocacy efforts relating to violence against children to inform future advocacy campaigns and build on previous efforts
Supervisory Responsibilities:
During this period, the intern will report to the policy and advocacy coordinator
Arrangements for cost coverage:
During this period, the intern will be paid the total amount of USD 250 for 22 working days and a daily transportation allowance of USD 5.5
