Sponsorship Field Coordinator (Akkar)

Together with related ADP team, develop contextualized sponsorship messages and prepare sponsorship /Child Protection communication plan for partners, community groups, and children Ensure sponsorship/Child Protection  is introduced to partners, community groups and children in ways that are easily understood Monitor community understanding of sponsorship and respond to queries and concerns sensitively and promptly Encourage local ownership of child sponsorship by positioning sponsorship to support local community efforts to promote well-being of children Plan sponsorship/Child Protection  activities (using child-friendly methods and learning tools) that promote children’s participation and community capacity to care for children Ensure sponsorship/Child Protection monitoring and activities are integrated with the activities of partner and other projects in ways that promote the outcomes of partners and projects through designing and maintaining an integrated activity plan Equip partners, volunteers, and community to monitor children through visits and project activities Collaborate with Health, education, child protection, teams on sector issues as a result of child monitoring Provide support and training on sponsorship development approach to the community  and provide contextualized sponsorship basic training materials to community representative and volunteers. Promote community-based follow-up and responses to issues emerging from sponsorship monitoring through partners and community ensure partners and community are actively involved in defining and adapting child selection criteria Support partners to design and engage in community awareness process on sponsorship and criteria for child selection in ways that promotes community ownership of sponsorship and promote focus on vulnerable children Facilitate the design of a process which fully involves partners to shortlist the children who will be targeted in the program Monitor the processes for ongoing assurance that sponsorship data is updated in STEP and that the information is used by ADPs to inform programming regularly.
