Sponsorship Field Facilitator (Bint Jbeil)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Work with WV team to contextualize sponsorship message and prepare a communication plan for partners, community members, families and children Manage process to introduce sponsorship key messages to partners, community groups, children and their families using community engagement tools Ensure that partners, community groups and children who introduce sponsorship to the wider community have a clear understanding and ability to share about what sponsorship is and is not Monitor and manage ongoing community understanding and ownership of child sponsorship and design plans for continuous education and increased ownership overtime Mobilize volunteers to support the programme requirements and childrens activities Empower volunteers through implementing the agreed capacity building plan in order to retain them in the program Identify possible partners to facilitate sponsorship requirements Involve partners and community groups in defining and adapting child selection criteria Support partners to design and engage in a community awareness process for sponsorship and child selection criteria in ways that promote community ownership and include focus on vulnerable children Register children as per the budgeted plan while ensuring the consent of the parents that have correct sponsorship key messages Gather sponsorship 2.0 requirement such as child video greetings, photos and Child history Ensure children are not registered in other sponsorship program Develop an integrated monitoring plan for registered children as per the programme requirements Provide the sponsorship operator the Child monitoring form twice per year for processing. Follow up on children with child well being case management issues Ensure that partners, volunteers and community groups are equipped to monitor children through visits, projects activities and program requirements. Plan sponsorship activities that promote childrens active participation using child friendly methods and tools. Track the presence and participation of children in all sector activities. Participate in analyzing the reports to identify possible child well being obstacles. Conduct regular visits to families and children to process incoming and outgoing correspondence such as thank you letter , Introductory letter Gift notification, Annual progress report, Christmas card and farewell letter Ensure the participation of children in the design of the Annual Progress report and Christmas card Report on children drop out in a timely manner as per the sponsorship standards Assist in GIK process and distribution and other related benefits if available To ensure the quality and timeliness of the data gathered by the community members and volunteers. Ensure quality communication between registered children and sponsors including arrangements for sponsor visit. Ensure the sponsorship quality standards are met with respect child data, child greeting video, photos, activities and child protection. Coordination with other Project sectors to ensure the child well being is targeted. Prepare sponsorship 2.0 requirements such as child video greeting, community photo album and annual child video Facilitate the children council activity if available. Prepare financial documents related to sponsorship activities Report on child protection incident to the related assigned staff member Coordinate the process of printing Sponsorship materials Support the sponsorship programme officer in analyzing the reports by providing constructive feedback. Attending National office meetings trainings once needed Produce necessary reports as requested by the Sponsorship programme officer Ensure the implementation of the agreed sponsorship logframe Coordinate with sector coordinators to provide children participation to sponsorship system operator Support in raising the visibility of sponsorship programme by providing necessary input. Attend and participate in staff spiritual nurture events as well as other organizational events Participate in local CB events as required Perform other related duties as requested Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager       KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Technical diploma or university degree preferably in social work or community development fields Knowledge of child protection / child rights Good command of Arabic and English and French if needed Computer literate mainly with MSOffice software package Good communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships Ability to deal with children and people from different cultures and backgrounds Ability to foster a good team spirit Ability to transmit information correctly with accountability and maintain confidentiality Animation skills and child friendly attitude Digital Skills Voluntary spirit Team management skills Sociable and presentable Work under pressure Creative with coming up with new ideas & activities One year exposure to secretarial work and child protection issues
