Manage Effectively sponsorship in programme

Work with Area Program (AP) team to Facilitate strong community, partner engagement and ownership of Child Sponsorship as per the Sponsorship quality standards.

Apply Sponsorship expertise in Supporting partners to design and engage in a community awareness process for sponsorship and to design the child selection criteria in ways that promote community ownership and include focus on vulnerable children.

Support Introduction of Sponsorship Key messages to partners, community groups and children.

Encourage local ownership of child sponsorship by positioning it to support local community efforts to promote wellbeing of children.

Apply Sponsorship expertise while supporting the development of programme log frame to ensure sponsorship integration.

Contribute to planning sponsorship activities that promote children's participation and protection, while assuring sponsorship deliverables quality and timeliness.

Guide AP teams to develop and execute an integrated activities plan , while supplying them with semi/annual Registered Children (RC) inclusion and participation analyses

Ensures RC)of all ages and geographic locations directly benefit from programme and address the critical needs of children as defined by SMP.

Support Sponsorship Coordinator with ongoing sponsorship risk identification and management, while ensuring compliance with sponsorship and programme quality standards and requirements.

Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines using RIMS

Ensure targeting the most vulnerable children in sponsorship program and their participation by engaging community in the process

Sponsorship key messages introduced to both communities and partners.

Integrated activity plan is in place.

Mitigate Risk management is in place

RC mapping and RC inclusion are regular updated

SIP reflection tools updated on yearly basis.

Ensure Sponsor Engagement

Develop Rich media capacity-building plan for volunteers, staff and community workers to ensure quality and timely deliverables.

Support AP staff and volunteers in creating quality child engagement within sponsorship communication activities.

Coordinate the Child expression worksheet timelines, plans and support the Child engagement within programme activities.

Assure the child sponsorship standards and quality benchmarks of meeting sponsor engagement & satisfaction.

All the relevant stakeholders are provided with quality necessary information in time;

Sponsors receive RC Child expression sheet in compliance with Sponsorship standards and quality.

Handle Sponsorship Business process & System

Manage Horizon/SSUI Desktop and case management for RC with CWB issues.

Manage and resolve Horizon/SSUI data quality issues, media rejections and SO queries.

Provide regular SSUI reports and analyses, to enable Sponsorship business processes review, improvement and/or escalation upon need.

Coordinate timely upload and quality review of Sponsorship 2.0 and any new rich media feature.

Monitor the child well-being of children including participation, monitoring presence and ensure sponsorship standards is met and in place.

Conduct monitoring field visit to ensure the quality of data gathered by staff, partners and community members.

Register child records, correspondence in sponsorship system according to the existing CS standards and guidelines and ensure RC growth replacement up to 2%.

Coordinate Sponsorship Operation Systems errors with SSS (Sponsorship system support).

Maintain hard/digital copy of registered children files in line with the existing standard and maintain child file updated accordingly.

Work closely with Development Facilitator to ensure Child Monitoring Standard the integration of community led child protection mechanisms.

Basic sponsorship correspondences & Sponsorship 2.0 are processed in a timely manner;

Sponsors receive RC correspondence in compliance with Sponsorship standards

All the required reports are done timely; hard copies of all the registered children files are maintained; labels are prepared;

Support Offices receive complete and quality information on requested number of RCs in a timely and efficient manner;

2% of reserve RCs is kept on permanent basis

Perform other duties as required

Attend and participate in capacity building trainings locally and internationally

Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events

Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture

Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager

Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Technical diploma or university degree preferably in social work or community development fields

5-6 years of experience in a relevant field

Knowledge of child protection / child rights

Good command of Arabic and English

Good Computer literate mainly with MSOffice software

Good communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships

Ability to deal with children and people from different cultures and backgrounds

Ability to foster a good team spirit

Ability to transmit information correctly with accountability and maintain confidentiality

Good time management & organizational skills

Innovation, creativity with good analytical skills

Adopting a critical thinking and active listening behaviour
