BACKGROUND Enhancing Protection Outcomes for Vulnerable Children affected by the Syria Crisis in Akkar and Beirut & Mount Lebanon Areas is a project implemented by World Vision Lebanon (WVL) and its Local Partners. World Vision has established Psychosocial Support Centers (PSC) to provide targeted children with structured and focused psychosocial support (PSS) to build resilience, contextually relevant skills, create social support and support community mobilization to enhance child protection and child well-being. THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY World Vision is looking for a trainer with a strong training experience in psychosocial support. The consultants’ main role is to train partners and WV staff (animators, volunteers and specialized staff) in Mount Lebanon and Akkar, on WV structured and focused psychosocial support curriculums (14 SPSS sessions and 14 FPSS sessions). REQUIRED TASKS • Review the Structured and Focused PSS curriculums, prepare the trainings and deliver reports. • Train for two days on the structured PSS curriculum in Beirut. The language of the training is Arabic. • Train for four days on the Focused PSS curriculum (2 days in Beirut and 2 days in AkKar). The language of the training is Arabic.
