Trainer On The Kindergarten National Curriculum

THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY: World Vision is looking for an Early Childhood trainer with a strong training experience on the Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum. The consultants’ main role is to train care givers on the KGs Lebanese curriculum and to provide them with support through coaching visits and follow up. The themes to be covered by the consultancy are as follows: • Provide a 6 days training on the Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum, including any other relevant additional content that strengthen the trainees capacities to implement KG classes. • Conduct two field visits to observe and coach the KG teachers and strengthen their capacities to implement the Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum. • Develop day-to-day programme activities per the established Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum schedule and modules;, • Conduct pre-posttests and end of training evaluation with attendees and analyze the results. • Contribute to quality improvement of the current Kindergarten programme content, lessons and activities. • Ensure the class materials procured meets the national standards. • Develop training support material in Arabic, (visuals, Power point presentations, videos in Arabic, handouts…) based on Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum the and share it with the teachers DELIVERABLES: • Final report in English regarding findings of the consultation, including various sessions facilitated based on World Vison Training report template • Final Kindergarten 6 months lesson’s plan (including activities, materials needed, etc) • Training Report, including pre-post test results, evaluation forms, training plan… (the template will be provided by WV) • Training support materials in Arabic and English, (visuals, Power point presentations, videos in both languages, handouts…) CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Educational background in ECE • Several years of experience in teaching/consulting in ECE especially training on Kindergarten “Step by Step” National Curriculum. • Understanding of regional context • Experience in facilitating trainings • Great communication skills • Good at time management • Good computer skills • Ability to act with appropriate respect towards audience For interested applicants, Please send the following: 1.
