PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To supervise the installation of latrine and showers and coordinate the distribution with the suppliers.
Major Tasks
Manage the installation
Identify with WASH Officers the best places of Latrine and showers based on results of the Assessment.
Provide casual workers with direct instructions on the best way of drilling and installation.
Check the drilling before starting the installation.
Effectively manage the installation process.
Ensure compliance with Sphere Standard
Monitor the distribution process
Coordinate with WASH Officers on the needed supplies
Ensure that installation material and NFIs are received on time.
Lead the procurement of cement and latrine.
Participate in project’s evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator
Manage Casual Workers
Recruit Casual Workers for the installation.
Follow up on their papers and daily attendance.
Ensure they are performing as requested
Work closely with the Finance Department on their payment
Minimum requirements
Candidate must have 2 years experiences Humanitarian work, experience in WASH related projects are a plus.
