Raising awareness:
Identify,assess, and respond WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) needs among Syrian refugees families residing in tented settlements
Supervise the delivery, distribution, and implementation of (WASH) interventions in tented settlements
Conduct WASH needs assessments, WASH technical assessments, distributions, and hygiene promotion sessions
Document and report on conducted activities to insure that needs assessed are being effectively responded to and that interventions are being documented
Arrange and deliver hygiene promotion sessions to raise hygiene standards and practices among targeted communities
Implement hygiene promotion initiatives appropriate to the context ensuring the technical and social aspects of water and sanitation programming are integrated.
Educate people about key aspects of hygiene in a culturally appropriate manner
Ensure all work is carried out as per the community needs
Forging relationships with people in the community in order to get the message across.
Develop trust, tolerance and co-operation among community members;
Mobilize, motivate and encourage potential leaders to talk to their fellow community members about good hygiene practices.

Assessing Risks:
Identify and assess public hygiene risks and needs
Report areas of concern to the WASH (Water and Sanitation Hygiene) Coordinator
Networking:
Collaborate with a number of other agencies, including local authorities and international aid workers during the implementation of water and sanitation programs.
Reporting:
Provide daily and weekly reports to WASH field Operation Coordinator on program progress against work plan and program activities.
Document and share lessons learnt with the WASH Coordinator, local community members and local stakeholders
Minimum requirements
Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a proven track of involvement in awareness rising sessions as a facilitator.
1+ year’s experiences Humanitarian work, experience in WASH related projects are a plus.
