Female Hostel Matron

1- Creates a pleasant atmosphere in the hostel by implementing the slogan “A Home away from Home”.

2- Supervises the operation of the hostel.

3- Keeps an up-to-date inventory of Hostel equipment and supplies and reports needed articles to Executive Director.

4- Responsible for laundry.

5- Responsible to collect fees from residents and reports discrepancies to Executive Director.

6- Is available on premises during alternate week-ends and holidays.

7- When not on duty (sleeping in or outside YWCA premises) delegate all information, hand over keys and give precise instructions to replacement who in turn will be held responsible.

8- Makes sure that all residents abide by rules and regulation of hostel.

9- Housekeeping shift from 3 p.m. to 8  a.m.

- Supervises cleanliness of 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th of hostel floors.
