تهدف الدورة إلى تطوير المهارات التحليلية لدى مجموعة مختارة من الموظفين الشباب والطلاب والناشطين السوريين في لبنان من خلال تزويدهم بالأدوات والتقنيات اللازمة لمعالجة بعض المسائل الإقتصادية والإجتماعية وتقديم الاقتراحات والأفكار التي من شأنها تعزيز مستوى النقاش في المسائل الأساسية التي يواجهها المجتمع السوري حالياً.
