تهدف حلقة النقاش هذه إلى تحليل الأثر التراكمي للتعرُّض المتكرّر للنزاعات على الأطفال في لبنان، وفهم تأثير جولات الحرب والانهيار الاقتصادي والتهميش البُنيوي على حياة الأطفال ومستقبلهم/نَّ، وذلك للإجابة في نهاية المطاف عن سؤالٍ محوري: إذا أَرَدْنا أن تكون مسألة الحدّ من تعرُّض الأطفال للنزاعات وتعزيز قدرتهم/نَّ على التكيُّف والصمود جزءًا أساسيًا من أيّ خطّة وطنية للتعافي، فما هو المسار الكفيل بتعزيز حماية الطفل، وتغيير الاتّجاهات الراهنة، ووضع الجيل القادم في صميم الأولويات الوطنية؟
This roundtable aims to unpack the cumulative impact of repeated exposure to conflict on children in Lebanon. It will examine how cycles of war, economic collapse, and systemic neglect are reshaping children’s lives and futures, ultimately seeking to answer the question: if reducing children’s exposure to conflict and strengthening their resilience are to be central to any national recovery agenda, what path forward can enhance child protection, reverse current trends, and place the next generation at the heart of national priorities?

The International Organization for Voluntary Work opened the Arab Youth Volunteering Festival, via the Zoom platform, with the participation of representatives from (22) Arab and foreign countries.
The second edition of the festival bore the name of the course of the late "Alia Siksik"... under the slogan "Let's spread the culture of volunteering together".
The Lebanese Association for Initiative and Development was among the partners in the success of the festival, which runs from 8th of June till the 11th.
In order to achieve the goals of the association, and within the framework of developing and strengthening the capabilities of young men and women, and contributing to the provision and creation of job opportunities, the third batch of accelerated vocational training courses has graduated, which were implemented at the Bader Center for Development and Training of the association in Barja, in cooperation with LEAD and funded by MERCY CORPS within 3AMALY program.
