Major Activities
Strategic and operational
Act as primary contact and focal person for the assigned portfolios
Establish and maintain effective communication with inter-departmental heads and key staff to ensure effective implementation of the contractual obligation
Prepare project documents in close coordination with relevant departments (operations, Technical, finance) for new funding/donors
Keep track of all deliverables due from all departments and make sure that they are received in time to keep in line with the project implementation plan
In coordination with the Grants Manager, CDO and alongside the Finance, Technical, Operation, HR and M&E take the lead on developing new projects across Lebanon, in accordance with the organization strategy
Undertake due diligence on the viability of potential new partnerships
Maintain and develop working relationships with existing donors and explore opportunities to renew potential partnerships in line with the programme priorities
Organize and facilitate the Planning Meetings/kick-off for new projects, in collaboration with Operations, Technical Managers, Finance, HR and M&E departments/units
Work closely with the relevant departments to ensure that all partnership opportunities conform to B&Z and in-country laws and regulations
Contribute to organizational capacity assessment and assist with capacity building planning
Prepare project-specific reporting templates and tools in line with donor requirements
Following up on all Project Partnerships’ reporting deadlines and assist in the pre-submission final checks and reconciliation in coordination with Reporting Officers and Project/Program Managers.
Undertake other duties as required by the Grants Manager and the Chief Development Officer
Take the lead on arranging and holding kick off meetings
Contribute to the development of high quality Project concept notes and Proposals
Update Grants Unit trackers and tools
Assess call for funds while focusing on the compliance of the calls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suit instruments.
Flexibility to accept and conduct ad hoc tasks and urgent requests.
Ability to work under changing and challenging work conditions.
Ability to use interpersonal, conflict prevention and conflict resolution skills internally and externally.
Self motivation and initiation is a plus.
Proven fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is required.

More than two years in working in Humanitarian organizations in Lebanon (or MENA region)
