Major Responsibilities:
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Adapt and update relevant project management tools in a timely manner, based on contextual changes
- Standardize operational and field implementation plans, strategies, and processes across field teams
- Track progress against deliverables and address gaps systematically
- Ensure timely and clear dissemination of information across field teams
- Provide timely status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, challenges, and support needed.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, at the national or international levels, in managing small-scale and medium-scale projects.
- Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial post is required.
- Experience in report writing.
- Experience in Non-Governmental Organizations is preferable.
Skills
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Excellent writing skills.
