Gynecologist

  • Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Provide reproductive health consultations and check-ups including for preconception care, antenatal, postnatal, family planning counselling; screening and treating reproductive tract infections; breast and cervical cancer screening.
  • Providing patient education through individual or group awareness-raising sessions.
  • Provide training and support as needed to the project’s team including the volunteering community mother and peer educators.
  • Advise patients on how to cope with the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause
  •  Performing examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions, prescribing suitable medications, and agreeing a follow-up plan.
  • Advising patients on suitable birth control options
  • Recording on and updating patients' medical records. 

  • Work Experiences:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Gynecologist/Obstetrician

  • Organizational Policies:

  •  Respect Nabaa Code of Conduct, Child Rights, Child Protection, Prevention from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Gender Diversity

  •  Report any potential breaches of the Policies to the Focal Point

  •  Aware of, abides by and promotes the practices and values set out in all Nabaa Policies and Procedures
