Major Responsibilities:
- Conducting workshops on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, communication skills, anger management, parenting skills, etc.
- Developing lesson plans for classes that incorporate topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, time management, and leadership skills
- Conducting seminars to promote health and wellness within communities
- Creating and managing curriculum for classes that cover topics such as parenting skills, conflict resolution, and peer pressure prevention
- Conducting one-on-one sessions with students who are struggling with specific issues
- Preparing reports on student progress and attendance at each session
- Conducting workshops in schools or community settings to promote positive behavior among children and teens
- Leading groups of children in activities such as arts and crafts projects, field trips, games, and other activities
- Creating teaching materials such as lesson plans, handouts, and visual aids
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Sociology, Children Psychology, Education or any other related field.
Professional Experience
- At least one-year recent related experience
- Worked in humanitarian settings, specifically in Child Protection or GBV sectors
Skills
- Experience in collaborating with various community groups
- A strong commitment to the philosophy of people with disabilities living and working in the community
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting, with an emphasis on leadership,
- Self-initiative, patience, creativity, maturity and tact
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated teaching and coaching ability
Others
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
