Peace of Art is looking for a Civic Awareness, Advocacy & Soft Skills Trainer near Ain, Baalbeck-Hermel who is to be in person at Peace of Art Office.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop training materials, modules, and curriculum related to civic awareness, leadership, activism, advocacy, and soft skills development.
- Conduct training sessions for individuals or groups on topics such as civic engagement, advocacy strategies, communication skills, leadership development, and conflict resolution.
- Assess the training needs of participants to tailor training programs accordingly.
- Facilitate interactive training sessions that engage participants and encourage active learning through discussions, group activities, role-playing, and simulations.
- Transfer knowledge and skills effectively to participants, ensuring comprehension and practical application of concepts taught.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and post-training evaluations. Use feedback to continuously improve training programs.
- Assist participants in developing advocacy campaigns, strategies, and action plans to address social issues or promote positive change in their communities.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by the organization.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Education, Social Sciences, Political Science, Communication, or International Development.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in areas such as civic engagement, advocacy, or soft skills development.
- Experience working in community development, social justice, human rights, or related fields is beneficial.
- Previous experience working with diverse groups of participants, including youth, community leaders, activists, or marginalized populations, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to effectively convey information and facilitate learning.
- Proficiency in designing interactive and engaging training materials and activities.
- Ability to assess training needs, evaluate outcomes, and adapt training approaches accordingly.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and resources for advocacy, community organizing, and social change.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse settings and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and community partners to achieve shared goals and objectives.
