Outreach Worker

Job Description:

  • Facilitate group psychosocial support (PSS) sessions to address emotional, social, and psychological needs.
  • Facilitate mental health awareness sessions to educate communities on mental health issues and reduce stigma.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support advocacy efforts.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on program activities, progress, and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in social work, mental health, community outreach, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in conducting assessments and providing support services is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and psychosocial support principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to social justice.
